ULI Washington Gains Recognition at the Fall Meeting in San Francisco

In early October, ULI Washington was recognized by the national ULI organization for two achievements, including recognition for accumulating the most points in the 2015 Member Game, a group of activities that the district council can implement to increase member engagement at the local level.  Robert Atkinson, Chair of the Membership Committee, deserves special kudos for his leadership in implementing many of the activities including quarterly New Member Meet and Greet breakfasts.  ULI Washington was also recognized of one of five finalists for an Impact Award that is given to the district council that exemplifies delivery of the ULI mission at the local level.  The ULI project submitted as one of our most impactful was the Falls Church TAP.  This Technical Assistance Panel provided the City with guidance on  how to plan for and co-locate 10 acres of commercial development alongside a new, state-of-the-art high school that is intended to serve the City over the next 50 years.
