On November 15th, ULI Washington Young Leaders Group hosted their 2nd Annual Real Estate Trivia Night at 1800 K Street, NW. With participants from all over the Washington, DC real estate industry, this year’s numbers for both attendance and fundraising far surpassed that of the inaugural event held in 2015. Fitness is the New Happy Hour Event Recap

On September 29, 2016, the Programs Committee for the Young Leaders Group hosted, “Fitness is the New Happy Hour” at MRP’s new mixed-use waterfront project, Dock79. The stylish 305-unit residential building located along the SE waterfront trail served as the perfect backdrop for the evening. 2nd Annual Bike Tour de DC: Bridging the Anacostia River Event Recap

On June 18, the Young Leaders Group’s Programs Committee hosted a bike tour of development along the Anacostia River. Over 60 bikers met at the Yards Park on a beautiful Saturday morning and biked to the site of the future 11th Street Bridge Park where they met with Scott Kratz, Director for the project. On Saturday, April 16th, a group of ULI Young Leaders spent the day volunteering at Community Forklift in Hyattsville, MD. Community Forklift is a non-profit reuse center that provides home improvement materials, appliances, and fixtures at a low and affordable cost to the public.
