Started in 2009, the Young Leaders’ Community Service Committee provides service opportunities to members of ULI Washington. Through service to the community, the team shares the mission of ULI and enhances its longstanding relationship with the Washington community.

THEARC Community Center Annual Holiday Party

ULI Washington joins children at THEARC every December for an annual Community Service event. Members bring children gifts, mentor children, and host a holiday party. For more information about THEARC, please click here.

Angels in the Outfield YLG Community Service Event

A great day was had by all on Saturday, October 22 when over 30 ULI Washington Young Leaders participated in a baseball game through the Miracle League program in Alexandria. Each volunteer was partnered with a developmentally disabled team player. For more information about the Miracle League, please click here.

Other Community Service Events

We have participated in a variety of philanthropic projects including as outdoor clean-ups, beautifying schools, a tree planting, building a green roof, weatherization projects, and serving and preparing food to the homeless. We look forward to contributing more to the community in the future!
