
The Trailblazer Award
The Trailblazer Award was presented to Bob Youngentob, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder, EYA LLC, by Roger Winston, Partner, Ballard Spahr, LLP.
Bob’s legacy at EYA has had a major impact in the Metropolitan Washington Region: EYA has delivered over 7000 homes throughout the region, including townhomes, multifamily and mixed income neighborhoods. EYA has won numerous national awards including the ULI Award for Excellence and ULI’s Jack Kemp Award for workforce housing, and is a two-time winner of America’s Best Builder and the National Housing Quality Award. Bob is a former chair of ULI Washington and is a member of ULI Washington’s Governance Committee. Bob has also been a guest lecturer on real estate at the Harvard Business School, University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University, and has spoken at numerous conferences sponsored by the Urban Land Institute and Builder Magazine. He has been recognized as an “Entrepreneur of the Year” for real estate and was inducted into the W.H. Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence. (Watch Video)
