Last night was a time of celebration as over 400 members of the Metropolitan Washington’s real estate industry gathered at ULI Washington’s inaugural Awards for Excellence to honor the visionary leaders and transformational projects that have, and continue to, shape the future of the built environment in our region. Leadership Honorees and Project Award Winners received accolades, speeches, presentations, and personal congratulations from their industry peers and colleagues during the formal ceremony in the Nan Tucker McEvoy Auditorium and reception at The Kogod Courtyard at the Smithsonian American Art Museum & National Portrait Gallery.
We were honored to recognize Monty Hoffman of Hoffman & Associates, Rhea Vaflor of Hickok Cole, Carmen Romero of Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH), and Gwen Wright, in four categories of exemplary leadership – The Visionary, The Groundbreaker, The Changemaker, and The Chair Award for Distinguished Service.
