Recap- Welcome Back to WLI event at Republic Restoratives

More than 75 attendees packed into the tasting room and distillery of Republic Restoratives in Ivy City on October 3rd to network and celebrate the new programming year for the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) of ULI Washington. WLI Prologis Fall Meeting Scholarship Application Period Open

WLI Prologis Fall Meeting Scholarship Application Period Open Ten scholarships are awarded to female applicants who have seven or more years in the industry and have taken leadership roles in their District Council or at the national level. The scholarship covers expenses and registration to the Fall Meeting. Recipients are assigned a mentor active with WLI who takes the winner to her Product Council events at the meeting. Recap- WLI Guided Rum Tasting

ULI members braved the record breaking heat on Wednesday, August 10th to network and enjoy an exclusive members-only summer rum tasting at Archipelago, a tiki bar on U Street.  Archipelago is owned by local bartender Owen Thomson (formerly of Bar Pilar and Rose’s Luxury) and his colleagues Joseph Ambrose, Noah Broaddus and Ben Wiley.  The tiki bar opened earlier this year and is DC’s first legitimate tiki bar in more than a decade.  The Washington Post describes Archipelago as “the only place in town where you can sit on a … Read More
