After decades of neglect, Washington DC’s once-great Southeast and Southwest waterfronts are in the midst of a dramatic revitalization. Cleanup efforts are improving of the water quality of the Anacostia River and rebuilding the natural ecosystem. A new wave of real estate developments is bringing the city to the water’s edge, changing the way the District interacts with the water. Come join us on Tuesday, May 8th for a boat cruise tour to hear local watershed advocates and real estate leaders discuss their projects and how they are rejuvenating these waterways.
