Due to unforeseen circumstances, the January community service event has been rescheduled to the following Saturday on January 26th. We hope that you will join the ULI Young Leaders at the Interfaith Works Clothing Center in Rockville, MD on Saturday, January 26th from 9 am to 12 pm.

Interfaith Works is a non-profit, non-sectarian interfaith coalition of more than 165 affiliated congregations of diverse faiths, working together to meet the needs of the poor and homeless in Montgomery County, MD. Interfaith Works’ trained, professional staff members work with individuals and families in crisis to help equip them to lift themselves from poverty and homelessness through prevention, stabilization and empowerment programs. Interfaith Works impacts more than 16,000 lives annually.

Volunteer Event: 751 Twinbrook Pkwy Rockville, MD 20851

We will convene at 9 am at the Interfaith Works Clothing Center to support a variety of activities. Please dress in comfortable old work clothes and closed toe shoes. Participants are encouraged to bring water bottles. Please note that Interfaith Works will host this workday rain or shine unless otherwise specified. After the event, we will grab lunch at Smashburger close to the Twinbrook metro.

Please RSVP to emily.weberman@uli.org by Monday, January 21st so that we may provide a list of volunteers to Interfaith Works.

Parking Instructions:
There is parking available on site.

Metro Instructions:
If you are taking Metro, the closest stop is the Twinbrook Station (red line). A carpool will be available from that station before the event begins. When you RSVP please let emily.weberman@uli.org know if you are in need of a carpool, or if you are driving and willing to assist.
