ULI Washington Service Opportunity: Southwest Business Improvement District Park Beautification Day

Date: May 18th, 2019, from 9 am -12 pm
Location: Lansburgh Park
Directions: 1098 Delaware Ave SW - The park is a 6 minute walk from Waterfront Station Metro and a 13 minute walk from Navy Yard-Ballpark Station.
Details: We will help weed, remove litter, plant flowers, and general park beautification tasks to prepare the park for the busy summer months
Parking: Limited parking is available along Delaware Ave SW and I St SW.
ULI Young Leaders are excited to announce an upcoming park beautification event at Lansburgh Park in coordination with SWBID (Southwest Business Improvement District). The park is located less than a mile from Nationals Park and has been a terrific communal space for the local neighborhood since 1964. We look forward to helping preserve this historic green space and integral component of the Southwest identity.
