Washington’s urban core has suffered significant declines in rents and occupancy since the start of the pandemic. This exodus has benefited some of the area's suburban markets where rents have grown modestly and occupancy levels have been stable. Is this just a short term response to the pandemic or will this "Suburban Shift" have staying power?

On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, the ULI Young Leaders Group and its Real Estate 101 Committee will explore this question and more during our first event of the new year. The panelists will share their experiences both navigating the complexities of the past year and ways in which they see the real estate market shifting moving forward.

    The panelists include:
    • David Cornbrooks, Corporate Managing Director, Savills
    • Nikki Greenberg, Founder, Women In Proptech and Real Estate of the Future
    • Michael Horwitz, Account Executive, CoStar Group
    • Mark Franceski, Vice President, Research, The Bozzuto Group
In addition, please join us for networking opportunities after the discussion. We especially encourage new members to stick around to network with ULI members.
