    Joshua Bernstein is Chief Executive Officer of Bernstein Management Corporation and its investment affiliate Bernstein Development Corporation. In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Bernstein directs the acquisition, development, management, and financial activities of the firm. Mr. Bernstein serves as a member of the Executive Committee on the Federal City Council, as a director on the Washington Board of Truist and a director of Capital Bancorp. He is also president of the Diane and Norman Bernstein charitable family foundation and a founding partner of the Washington Housing Initiative. He previously served as a board chair at the Meyer Foundation and Sidwell Friends School. Mr. Bernstein received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tufts University, magna cum laude, a general course degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
