    Lindsey deButts

    Associate Director, Berkadia

    Lindsey deButts is a Senior Director with the DC Metro Mortgage Banking platform as well as Berkadia’s national Hotels & Hospitality platform. In this role, she is responsible for providing financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the United States. Lindsey has extensive knowledge and experience in originating, underwriting, structuring and closing a broad range of income-producing asset types including hospitality, multifamily, office, medical-office, retail, self-storage, and industrial/warehouse. In her career, Lindsey has assisted clients with securing over $2 billion in debt finance transactions representing several capital source executions including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Life Companies, CMBS, Debt Funds, and Banks.

    Ben Eitan

    Senior Vice President & REO, Clark Construction Group, LLC

    Ben Eitan oversees the development and delivery of complex multi-family, mixed-use, commercial office, and higher education projects in the greater Washington, DC area for Clark’s Capital Group. Since joining Clark in 2007, Ben has delivered notable mixed-use and higher education projects, including The George Washington University South Hall, The Avenue (Square 54), The George Washington University District House, The Boro, and the Seattle Convention Center Addition.

    Jeff Utz

    Director, Goulston & Storrs

    Jeff Utz is a real estate lawyer with experience in matters involving land use and development, zoning, historic preservation, municipal law and urban renewal. He represents clients in the development of mixed-use, residential, office, retail, institutional, and embassy/consulate/diplomatic mission projects throughout the District of Columbia. Jeff counsels clients through a wide range of land use and zoning issues, representing them before virtually every public forum in the District of Columbia, including the Board of Zoning Adjustment (BZA), the Zoning Commission, the Foreign Mission Board of Zoning Adjustment (FMBZA), the Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB), the National Capitol Planning Commission (NCPC), and the D.C. City Council.

    Amy Friedlander

    Director of Acquisitions, EYA

    As Director of Acquisitions for EYA, Amy brings her expertise in land use planning and design into her management of a range of project types, including master-planned mixed-use redevelopment. With her strong network of connections in the region, she provides unique insights into evaluating and sourcing new acquisitions. Amy has a diverse background in the real estate development process, having previously worked in long-range planning for the City of Alexandria, and as a planner with a boutique land use law firm specializing in Northern Virginia. Amy received a Master of Urban Planning with distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a B.Arch from Virginia Tech.

    Caroline Flax Ganz

    Vice President, RCLCO

    Caroline Flax Ganz is a Vice President at RCLCO, based in the firm’s Bethesda office. With a focus in Real Estate Economics, Caroline has worked internationally and across the U.S. guiding clients on strategic development decisions. Her experience includes highest-and-best use analyses, financial feasibility analyses, and market opportunity analyses for public and private sector clients, with a particular focus on mixed-use master planned sites. Prior to joining RCLCO, Caroline was a Senior Associate at The Meridian Group based in Bethesda, Maryland, where she focused execution of development activities. Her primary project was The Boro, where she worked from construction start through stabilization on Phase 1, which consisted of 1.7 million square feet of office, retail, and residential. Caroline graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science with honors in Urban and Regional Studies and a minor in Real Estate. While at Cornell, Caroline was the Associate Editor of The Cornell Daily Sun and won the College of Architecture, Art and Planning Community Service Award.
