ULI Washington Young Leaders Group: 2024 – 2025 Mentorship Program
This program is a great opportunity for Young Leaders to learn from top professionals, gain unique experience, and build meaningful relationships with peers and Mentors.

Introduction
The ULI Washington YLG Mentorship program pairs small groups of young leaders (under age 35) with industry veterans for the purpose of building relationships and sharing industry best practices. This program is a great opportunity to learn from top professionals, gain unique experience, and build meaningful relationships with peers and Mentors.
Duration: September 2024 – June 2025
Cost: $200 for public sector, $300 for private sector
Structure
- Each group has 1 mentor and approximately 5 young leaders
- Groups mix professional backgrounds and organizations so young leaders experience the breadth of the real estate community
- Each group meets regularly based on their schedule (typically once a month).
- Locations and topics vary according to each group’s interests, but often include:
- Career planning
- Project case studies
- Project tours
- Small panel discussions
- Social events
Eligibility
- ULI members under the age of 35
- Prospective members can join ULI to enjoy discount at ULI events and have a more fulfilling ULI experience. Click here to join ULI.
- Small group format necessitates 100% attendance and participation
Application Process
- Applicants who are accepted to the program will be sent a link to a ULI website to pay the registration fee (please allow several weeks to hear back regarding this)
- Deadline to apply is April 30th, 2024

Coordinators
- Coordinators play a crucial role in the program by acting as a liaison to the Mentor and Mentorship Committee. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that the group continues to meet on a regular basis and that each member of the group is contributing
- Manage scheduling of meetings and keep in touch with the Mentor and other group members throughout the year
- Provide feedback to the Mentorship Committee throughout the year
