Panel Discussion Focused on Effect of Governmental Push for Increased Sustainability
The new Urban Land Institute Washington (ULI Washington) Sustainability Initiative Council will host a panel session entitled, “The Future of Sustainability” featuring senior experts from the commercial real estate industry including developers, investors and architects. Led by the CEO of GreenGen, a global energy solutions provider, panelists will explore the governmental push for sustainability and how their firms and the industry are impacted by—and are adapting to–the increased focus on sustainability. Panel members will also share their perspectives on how to make the “business case” for sustainability.

ULI Washington’s Sustainability Initiative Council convenes land use industry leaders to discuss a broader definition of sustainability and build the business case for sustainability. This panel discussion is part of this effort and will create dialogue and provide insights into the governmental push for increased sustainability efforts in commercial properties in support of ULI’s focus on responsible land use and creating and sustaining thriving communities both within the U.S. and abroad.
