Release: ULI Washington Fills Three Key Leadership Positions

WASHINGTON, DC (August 24, 2018) – ULI Washington has filled three Leadership Positions at the District Council level.  The three new leaders are:

  • Jamie Weinbaum, Vice Chair (Executive Vice President, MidCity Financial);
  • Julie Smith, Chair of Mission Advancement (Chief Administrative Officer, The Bozzuto Group); and
  • Sarah Goss O’Rielly, Treasurer (Senior Policy Analyst, DC Office of the Chief Financial Officer).

These new appointees join Chair, Yolanda Cole (Partner, Hickok Cole Architects), Chair of the Governance Committee, Bob Youngentob (President and CEO, EYA), and Treasurer, Mark Sharer (Bank of America).

Together these officers will guide the district council in its work this year. ULI is a nonprofit research and education organization supported by its members, representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines working in private enterprise and public service – including leading property owners, investors, advisors, developers, architects, lawyers, lenders, planners, regulators, contractors, engineers, university professors, librarians, students, and interns.

ULI Washington is one of ULI’s largest District Councils worldwide, with over 2,000 members. We welcome membership and participation from individuals who share our commitment to responsible land use to sustain the growth and prosperity of the National Capital region.  The opportunity to influence local land use policy remains the focus and achievement of ULI Washington.  Two current work projects include a Housing Impact Task Force studying the entitlement and civic participation processes and how they impact affordability, and a report on Millennials in the Washington region.t.
