On Saturday, February 26th, members of the Urban Land Institute joined forces with the Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail to remove overgrown vegetation and dirt along the Gravelly Point section of the scenic Mount Vernon trail. After two hours of hard work, volunteers were able to clean up and re-edge nearly 0.6 miles of trail along the Potomac River from Gravelly Point to the 14th Street bridge.
