ULI Washington sponsored its latest UrbanPlan facilitation at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School yesterday. Twenty ULI Washington UrbanPlan volunteers met with students in John Zehner’s and Tim Gilmore’s AP Government and Politics classes over the course of the day.
The B-CC program is ULI Washington’s largest UrbanPlan program, serving over 210 students each year. The B-CC UrbanPlan program has also inspired the careers of at least two local land use professionals who participated in the program as B-CC students and now volunteer with the program as adults — architect Carla Amaya of MV+A Architects and ULI Associate Shayna Goldsmith.
Many thanks to the ULI Washington UrbanPlan volunteers who made yesterday’s program possible: Dan Anderton, Lin Mao, Caroline Herre, Ronnie Warner, Shayna Goldsmith, Margaret Rifkin, Laurey Millspaugh, Hsiao-Wei Yeh, Susan Bell, Rob Klein, Evan Weisman, Sakura Namioka, Meredith Byer, Jayne Shister, Eric Maribojoc, Melina Duggal, Heidi Bulich, Ellen McCarthy, Nancy Thiel and Alex Schroeder. We could not run this program without you!
