ULI Washington Welcomes Our New Associate- Bria Burke
New Associate
January 30, 2019
On Saturday, January 26th 2019 an excited group of approximately 20 ULI volunteers spent the morning working with the Interfaith Works Clothing Center team near Twinbrook. The volunteers went through a huge pile of clothing donations for quality control and sorted into gender-specific baskets. Additional volunteers then tagged and hung clothing for display at the client store within the center. The center provided clothing and household wares to a record breaking 60 families that morning. After the event, the volunteers headed over to Smashburger and enjoyed lunch and networking. Thank you to Mike at Interfaith Works for making this opportunity possible, and to all of the volunteers for their hard work and fun attitudes!
