is the ESG Senior Director for U.S. Real Estate Equity team at Barings Real Estate. In this role, Lori partners with U.S. and global leaders and colleagues to advance Barings’ ESG efforts and further define ESG as a competitive advantage in our Real Estate investment strategies. Prior to joining Barings, Lori led Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Research & Strategy efforts for JLL. In this role, she put a spotlight on the opportunity and obligation investors and occupiers have in shaping real estate for a better, healthier and greener world. She was the lead author on JLL’s Return on Sustainability report and discussed Barings’ philosophy around ESG in PERE Magazine. Lori is also the creator of CaterCares – a social program created in partnership with leading catering marketplace, ezCater, CaterCares is available nationwide, and enables you to fight hunger in your community with every office catering order. Prior to joining JLL, Lori led Research efforts for Pyramis Global Advisors’ Private Equity Real Estate team, now known as Long Wharf Real Estate Partners. Lori holds an MBA from Babson College, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from McGill University, as well as a Certificate in Gender Balance from INSEAD University. Lori lives in Boston, MA with her husband, two boys and two fur babies.
