ULI Washington Full Member conversations have traditionally been held over breakfast. This year, for our first conversation, we will meet at ULI Headquarters from 5 to 7 p.m. We will have snacks and wine to help facilitate the conversation. The interactive conversation will be an opportunity for Full Members to discuss trends and topics within our industry.
Rob Stewart joined JBG in 1988 and is now Executive Vice Chairman of JBG SMITH’s board of trustees. He brings to the board unparalleled experience in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate investment, development, and operations. He previously served as Managing Partner of JBG, Chair of the Investment Committee, and as a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Stewart focused on the acquisition, financing, and disposition of JBG investments, managing development plans for JBG assets. Mr. Stewart received his B.A. from Princeton University and his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Rob will open the session with his thoughts on his career, JBGS, housing affordablilty, and the trends in the real estate market that the company sees for the future. Then the group will have the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the issues of the day. You won’t want to miss his insights on the Amazon development and all of the projects that JBGS has in the region.
