ULI Washington received the Regional Partnership Award yesterday from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG) at its annual membership meeting. COG’s Regional Partnership Award is presented to organizations or individuals who have worked with COG to improve the quality of life for area residents. ULI Washington exemplifies these qualities by convening thought leaders from across the region to advance best practices in land use planning, real estate, and transportation. ULI Washington and COG have partnered to deliver multiple Technical Assistance Panels (TAPS) to help its local government members create vibrant and thriving communities in Activity Centers.  ULI Washington’s TAPs program is a vehicle to deliver honest, unbiased answers to land use and real estate questions that defy easy solutions. This year, COG’s Regional Partnership Award was presented to ULI Washington by Derrick L. Davis, COG Board Vice Chair and Prince George’s County Council Member.
