ULI Washington is Seeking new Executive Director Read a message from Chair Yolanda Cole
May 20, 2019
Members and Friends of ULI Washington:
While many of you have already heard the news, I would like to formally announce that Lisa Rother, our Executive Director for the past twelve years, will be retiring at the end of this year. During her tenure, she has increased our membership base to become the third largest in the ULI global network, with an impressive record of informative programming, effective leadership initiatives, and meaningful community impact. I have been fortunate to work alongside her these past two years, and many before, and wish her the best in her next life adventure!
The search for our new Executive Director officially launches today. The Search Committee, a subcommittee of the Governance Committee, has hired Raffa-Marcum to conduct the search and we have spent the last few months putting a detailed plan in place for a smooth transition. Our consultant has conducted interviews and surveys of our Management and Governance Committee leaders and prepared a position profile that reflects our strategic plan and vision for the future of ULI Washington.
The call for candidates will go out today over the ULI National network and a number of relevant outlets that we have identified. If you have suggestions for qualified candidates or have any ideas of people you think Raffa-Marcum should contact, please reach out to Adrienne O’Rourke at Adrienne.ORourke@marcumllp.com or Lauren Weinstein at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please join me in thanking Lisa for her hard work and dedication to ULI for these many years and for guiding it to become the premier real estate organization in the region!
