ULI Washington Volunteers Get Their Hands Dirty in The kitchen!

On February 7th the ULI Young Leader’s Group hosted 19 volunteers at the DC Central Kitchen to provide assistance in meal preparation and supporting the Kitchen staff across various tasks. DC Central Kitchen’s mission in producing 5000 meals per day is made possible on a daily basis with the support of volunteer groups serving 3 separate daily shifts. The DC Central Kitchen staff were thankful and impressed with the enthusiasm of the ULI Volunteers, and were keen to see future participation. Feedback was positive from all sides.
